Oops, I just ordered some yarn to make a V stitch blanket. I’d looked at it several times over the last couple of weeks and closed my eyes and pressed the ‘Order’ button when I really shouldn’t have. In my defence, I’ve been thinking about buying it for a while, and it is in very pretty colours (Pale Rose, Wisteria, Duck Egg and Silver in Stylecraft Special DK).
This means I need to start the tulip blanket that I’ve been meaning to start for a couple of weeks. I bought the yarn on offer at Aldi and it’s been sitting in the boot of my car ever since; I’ve now taken it inside so I’ll definitely be making a start on it today!
Any future projects will definitely only be started using the yarn I already have. Yep, definitely….I won’t be buying more….nope, not me……
Crochet and the cat 
I’m glad I’m not the only one, yarn is so pretty, I work next to a yarn shop and I started selling custom stitch markers at the shop to fund my addiction. Stylecraft Special DK is my favourite, I’ve just finished a project with Duck Egg, just so pretty, too hard to resist buying more.

Duck Egg in Stylecraft is one of the colours I’ve just got, it’s a lovely colour! My favourite is Wisteria, I’m planning on using it with Duck Egg and a few others in my next project 🙂 .

Sounds like it will be lovely. My next project is a doll for an Easter gift, I’ll be using pale rose for the dress, flowers and shawl.
