The cat of ‘Crochet and the Cat’ is my six year old adopted tabby/tortoiseshell cat, Cookie. She tries to help, but finds the yarn just too tempting! I try and distract her with scraps*.

Her favourite things are sleeping, Whiskas treats, Dreamies and shoelaces. She also really likes to jump from the floor beside my bed onto me then lie down on me, which is generally how I wake up every morning, or y’know in the middle of the night. The joys of cat ownership!

*I do keep an eye on her though, no-one wants to go through the trauma of a trip to the vet due to ingested yarn!
